MICCAI 2009, London
I was in London to visit the MICCAI conference at the end of September. This conference is one of the most important conferences in my field of research and I was happy to be there and see a lot of old friends and colleagues again. The conference venue was the imperial college in London and the conference banquet was held in the Science Museum. A great location to test out my new Pocket Wizard radio triggers for my flashes. I was just reading the great book “The Hot Shoe Diaries: Big Light from Small Flashes” by Joe McNally, which is all about remote flashes and I couldn’t resist putting a flash with a color gel in the big light-house lens. I also aimed an extra light (blue) at the airplane hanging from the ceiling in picture number 6. I must say I entertained myself during the speeches!
