Canoeing

On the last day of the Global I’s Survival Weekend, we split up and one group went for a mountainbike trip and the others went for canoeing down “l’Ourthe”.

Trusting my Lowepro Dryzone to indeed have a “dryzone”, I brought my gear along in the canoe (what use is a good camera if you can’t take it with you).

Once again we had a great time, and we managed not to tip over our boat. This however doesn’t mean we managed to stay dry… The canouing ended in one big water-throwing fest.

Check Picasaweb for more pictures.

    Hey Bram,
Your pictures are really great!! Is it the camera or the photographer, or a combination of both?
    Say hello to Adrianne!

A good camera alone will of course not make great pictures. But having a good camera of course does help. Especially the speed (there is hardly any delay between actually pushing the button and taking the picture) helps you to get the image at the right time.
Another advantage is the sensitivity of the camera because of the big aperture of the lenses and the large sensor a lot more light hits the sensor, this makes it possible to make good pictures even in a low light situation.
The downsides are of course the costs and all the heavy stuff you have to carry around.

    Hi Adrienne!
