Since I sold my M9 this April, I had been missing being able to shoot with a Leica rangefinder. Then I saw a great offer for a Leica M7, an analogue rangefinder camera. I picked it up and shot my first roll of film (5 year over date Kodak T-Max 400). The previous owner told me that developing B&W film was easy enough, and after watching some youtube videos about it, I agreed that it would be a fun to develop the film myself.
Indeed it was a lot of fun to do, getting the film out in the complete dark, putting it in the tank, mixing the chemicals, etc.
I was quite amazed by the results of my first try ever! I will definitely be having some more fun with this.4 comments
