Finally Some Time to Sort Pictures
Today I finally had some time to sort and edit some of the pictures I took of Vensa somewhere in the beginning of December. On the 9th of December I posted some of the pictures I took of Neda, but the pictures I took of Vesna that same day were still unsorted. I took a day off today and next to doing the laundry and ironing for almost an hour, I also made some time to have a look at those pictures. I used sort of soft focus technique in Photoshop to give the pictures a slightly dreamy effect, but on the small sized images on the website it might not be too clear.
1 commentMy New Canon 5D Mark II
I recently bought the new Canon 5D mark II camera and sold my “old” 5D. This camera is amazing. Images up to ISO 6400 still look good and if necessary you could even go up to ISO 25600 and take pictures in the dark. The 21 mega pixels result in truly ridiculously sharp and detailed images, but I will have to upgrade my computer with additional memory to be able to work comfortably with these immense pictures.
Of course I wanted to put this new camera to the test so I could finally convince Adrienne to be my model for a quick session. Check out the results below.
If you really want to be amazed by the detail (and file size) of the 5D mark II together with the EF 85mm f/1.2 II L lens, check out the original resolution image. Click it in your browser to look at it at a 100%, or use the “save as” command and look at it in your favorite image viewer.
2 commentsNew Years Eve
This year Adrienne and me spent new years eve at Bin & Arjen’s place (our friends that we joined on the China trip). We had a great time playing pictionary. All the different nationalities (French, Algerian, Chinese, Dutch, Swiss) giving their own interpretation to the words, were making the game a lot more interesting.
